Central and State Governments failed to protect us

Jammu – Tension erupted after jihadi militants broke into the Tehsildar’s office at Chadoora in Budgam District of Kashmir and killed a Hindu Government employee. Protesting the incident,  Kashmiri Hindus held a demonstration against the Central Government and the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. Hindus have accused that the Central and State Governments have failed to protect Kashmiri Hindus. We will not go to work unless security is guaranteed, said the Hindus. Kashmiri Hindus blocked the Baramulla-Srinagar highway and Jammu-Srinagar highway and chanted slogans against the Central Government and Deputy Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha. The Police used batons and tear gas to disperse them.

The agitating Kashmiri Hindus had made it clear that they will not take custody of the body till the arrival of Deputy Governor Manoj Sinha, however, after an understanding with the administration, Rahul’s body was taken and cremated on 13th May.

Rahul Bhatt’s father said that Rahul had been trying for a transfer for the last several months, but the District Administration did not consider his application. If Hindus are not safe in Government offices, then will they be safe in other places ? The Government has failed to protect Kashmiri Hindus.

If you can’t take revenge, then what is the point of talking about Hindutva ? – BJP leader Subramanian Swamy

Regarding Rahul Bhat’s murder, Subramanian Swamy said, Modi Government should not be casual about it. If the Government cannot instil fear and revenge, then what is the point of talking about Hindutva ?

Why does Modi only go to Jammu ? He appealed to him to go to Srinagar also.

Despite the BJP government at the Centre for the last 8 years and the abrogation of Article 370, Hindus in Kashmir, are still insecure. Hindus feel that this is the reality hence, the anger of Hindus should be taken into account.
