If the Twitter account of the Chief Minister’s Office of a large State like Uttar Pradesh gets hacked, it is better not to imagine the security of social media accounts of ordinary citizens ! |

New Delhi – The Twitter account of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s office was hacked late on the night of 8th April. The hackers first changed the account information and then the ‘profile photo’ of the Twitter handle ‘@CMOfficeUP’ followed by posting more than 50 tweets.

The entire system was activated at midnight after learning that the Twitter account of the Chief Minister’s Office had been hacked. The Twitter handle was recovered within 25 minutes. All tweets from hackers were deleted.
