Bengaluru (Karnataka) – On platform no. 5 of the Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna railway station of the South-West railway, the resting room of the coolies was converted to a place for prayer by the religious fanatics. As soon as this came to light, the devout Hindu organisations requested the railway administration to ban it. This request has come to effect as the green colour of this room has been now changed to white.

The signboards in the Arabic language have been removed. A new board has been put outside this room labelled ‘Resting Room’.
