In the video, she alleged,
Samaya Mary, the female warden of the hostel, made me do the accounts. When I said, I need to study, she used to say, “finish this and then do the other tasks”. Even though I do the accounts right, she would say it is wrong and make me write it again. She made me close and open the hostel gate, switch the electric water pump on and off, etc. When asked, is there a rule against bindi at school ? The warden answered, nothing like that.

I obtained the first rank in class 10 and I wanted to study well. But because of the work assigned to me, I could not study properly. I joined the school late this year due to family issues.
For all these reasons I could not focus on my studies and got fewer marks. I could not bear it hence, I consumed poison.
The school authorities did not know that I had consumed poison. They let me go home as I was sick.
I wanted to go home for Pongal but the warden did not allow it and forced me to stay at the hostel.
The person who shot the video should be questioned ! – The Supreme Court
The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court ordered the person who filmed the video of the allegations a few days before her death to appear in the Court and submit the mobile phone used, for interrogation. The girl’s father had filed a petition in the Court seeking an inquiry from the CBI into the incident and during this hearing, after which the Court passed this order.
The school denied the allegations
The school has denied all the allegations in this matter. Management said that they have never intervened with any of the students’ religious beliefs. Our organisation has been running this school for 180 years with the sole objective of educating neglected and deprived children.
