Gujarat : Drugs worth Rs 300 crore brought from Pakistan via sea route seized

Gandhinagar (Gujarat) –Just before a few weeks, around 3 kg of heroin worth Rs 21,000 crore was seized from a container at the Mundra port in Gujarat. After this, Gujarat Police seized narcotic drugs worth Rs 300 crore in Dwarka District. These drugs were brought from Pakistan via the sea route.

Sajjad, a resident of Mumbra of Thane District has been taken into Police custody by the Gujarat Police. The Police found 19 drug packets concealed in his bag. During interrogation, he revealed that he is a vegetable vendor and got drugs from Salim Yakub Kara and Ali Yakub Kara, both natives of Salaya town near Jamnagar. Police raided their residences later and found 47 packets of drugs.

Sajjad was imprisoned in a murder case earlier. Salim Kara had been arrested in the past in NDPS, fake currency and Arms Act cases. (Minorities are the majority in crimes ! It is clear from this, imprisoning religious fanatics for their crimes is of no use. They restart their crimes once they are out of prison. They should be punished with life imprisonment with hard labour. – Editor)
