Shri Ramayan Yatra Train, the first Super Luxury Train to boost the religious tourism starts

New Delhi – Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), has planned a Shri Ramayan Yatra’ train to promote/popularise Religious Tourism. This train has begun on 7th November. This train is starting from Safdarjung Railway Station and will cover the visit of all the prominent places associated with the life of Shriram.

The Railway’s first station is going to be Ayodhya. The tourists travelling by this train will visit Bharat Mandir, Shriramjanmabhoomi Mandir and Hanuman Gadhi Mandir in Nandigram. Thereafter, having reached Sitamadhi in Bihar, they will be able to visit Shriram Janaki Mandir in Janakpur.  Later the tourists will proceed to Varanasi. From Varanasi, tourists will proceed to Prayag, Shrungavarpur and Chitrakut. Thereafter, they will go to Nashik. There, the tourists will visit Tryambakeshwar Mandir and Panchavati. Thereafter, the tourists will proceed to Hampi. Kishkindha city was in Hampi. Thereafter, the tourists will proceed to the last stop of the tour, Rameshwaram.

While the AC-II class configuration is priced at Rs 82,950 per person, the first AC would cost Rs 1,02,095. Both the classes together can accommodate 156 persons. The deluxe AC tourist train boasts of several luxury features including staying facilities at air-conditioned hotels, fine dining restaurants, air conditioned cars for sightseeing and travel insurance facilities too will be provided.
