Sato Toilets Asia removes the advertisement denigrating Shri Durgadevi

A result of united efforts of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and devote Hindus

Editorial comment

Let us express gratitude at the Holy feet of Ishwar for this success. Protesting in a legal way against each case of denigration of Hindu Dharma is our duty; following this duty is our spiritual practice.

The intention underlying display of this image is not to hurt religious sentiments of Hindus, but make them comprehend the denigration – Editor

Gurugram (Haryana) – SATO Toilets Asia is a business entity selling sanitary products. This includes soap, sanitiser, hand wash, etc. The company has recently launched an advertisement on Twitter. As part of their campaign to promote their products, they had used a picture of Shri Durgadevi with soap, sanitiser and other products in her hands.

The advertisement post was aimed at delivering a message that Shri Durgadevi destroys germs through these products the way she destroys demons using her weapons. Devout Hindus informed Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) when they received information about this advertisement. HJS appealed to protest against this advertisement through social media using a post, awakening denigration of Shri Durgadevi through this advertisement. Just after few hours of collective protest by devout Hindus the company removed this advertisement.
