Why the Supreme Court has to interfere in the matter and question the Government ? The Government should have proactively acted and freed the national highway ! |

New Delhi – The Supreme Court (SC) has asked the Central Government about steps being taken to stop the farmer’s agitation being staged on the national highway of the capital of the nation ? The SC observed that the highway cannot be blocked forever.

The SC observed that any problem can be solved by the Court, agitators or through a discussion in the Parliament, however, blocking the highway cannot lead to any solution.

The Central Government informed the Court that at the highest level a three-member committee was formed to address the grievances. But the farmer’s representatives who were invited refused to join the discussion.
