Bengaluru – BBMP has issued a notice to shut all meat shops in the city on the occasion of Shrikrushna Janmashtami. There will be a ban on animal slaughter and the sale of meat. The Joint Director of Animal Welfare of BBMP has passed a public circular in this regard.

On earlier occasions too, the BBMP had ordered a similar ban on Shrikrushnashtami and Shri Ganesh Chaturthi.
