Pakistan played a key role in Taliban takeover of Afghanistan : Steve Chabot, US Republican leader

Editorial comment

  • Rather than telling this open secret, it is required as well as expected that the United States explains what action it would take against Pakistan.

Washington (US) – Steve Chabot, the US Republican Party leader claimed that Pakistan and its intelligence agency had played a key role in the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan. He addressed the audience in a virtual meeting of the Hindu Political Action Committee. He said that he applauds India for welcoming the Afghan religious minorities in India.

The lawmaker Chabot said that it is disgusting to watch Pakistan officials celebrate the victory of this group that will bring untold brutality to the Afghan people. Minorities in Afghanistan will be tortured and Pakistan is responsible for it. The incidences of kidnapping, religious conversion and marriage of minor girls to aged men will increase in Afghanistan.
