New Delhi – The trailer of a film titled ‘The Conversion’ made on the issue of ‘Love Jihad’ has been released. More than 19 lakh people have watched this trailer in the last 24 hours. This film will be released in September. It has been jointly produced by Director Vinod Tiwari and ‘Nostrum Entertainment’.

1. It has been observed from the trailer that it is a story of a Hindu young girl. She loves a young Muslim boy who has taken a Hindu name as Bablu. She marries him going against the wishes of her family, but her condition becomes pathetic after marriage. She is pressurised and persecuted to convert. This young woman, therefore, escapes from the clutches of this Bablu and later starts raising her voice against such cheating by religious fanatics.

2. Director Vinod Tiwari said that he was waiting to produce such a film for a long time because there is a need to create awareness amongst Hindu young women. This film is not just about love marriage but it is based on the sensitive issue of conversions after love marriages in India.

Opposition by religious fanatics to this film !

A poster of this film was published in the last month and the religious fanatics started opposing this film. They started a trend through the hashtag #BoycottTheConversionMovie’. It was stated that the film would send a wrong message against Muslims.
