Great Saint from Varad (Maharashtra) H.H. Parulekar Maharaj renounces His body

Malvan (District Sindhudurg, Maharashtra) – Great Saint, H.H. Parulekar Maharaj (Age 84) from Kusaravevadi, Varad renounced His body at 9 a.m. on 28^th June 2021 at Shriramnagari Ashram.

H.H. Parulekar Maharaj was unwell for a few months. According to His wishes, His body was laid to rest at 2.15 p.m. in the area between Shriram Mandir and Shri Datta Mandir in His Shriramnagari Ashram.

Whenever Sanatan’s seekers went to him, H.H. Parulekar Maharaj treated them affectionately. He had the bhav that Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale is Shriram. H.H. Parulekar Maharaj had blessed the activities, including a discourse held on Sanatan’s Gurupournima.

On 28^th April 2002, He attended the Sarvasampradaya Satsang (of Saints from all sects) organised at Sawantwadi and guided the audience. He used to attend Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabhas organised in Sindhudurg District and bless Hindu Janajagruti’s mission of creating awareness on Dharma.

Due to His unconditional love for Sanatan, He worked tirelessly for Sanatan till His last breath. As a result, He often had to endure spiritual distress. He also reduced the spiritual distress of seekers by performing rituals like Tripindi Shraddha, Narayan Nagbali, dispelling evil spirits, etc. For this purpose, H.H. Parulekar Maharaj used to perform spiritual remedies continuously from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The distress of many seekers caused by negative energies was alleviated through the Holy ash given by the H.H. Parulekar Maharaj.
