NIA : Terrorist attack on a large scale being conspired in the Nation

New Delhi – Taking cognisance of a telephone informing about a terrorist attack like 26/11, in the Nation is being planned, NIA has begun an investigation. The telephone call seems to have come from Ranaghat in Bengal. The informer said, ‘Steel bullets and bombs have been smuggled in through Nepal and Bangladesh for the attack.

Similar kind of telephone call was received last year on 20^th October. The informer had claimed to be from Karachi in Pakistan and had given the information about plan of terrorists to attack the Mumbai Airport and Police Headquarters.
