Kolkata (Bengal) – Ministers Firhad Hakim and Subrata Mukherjee along with TMC MP Madan Mitra who were earlier arrested in connection with Narada Scam were hospitalised on account of deteriorating health conditions. They were initially granted bail by the special CBI Court. However, the Calcutta High Court stayed the bail order and remanded them to judicial custody. Subsequently, as the accused were brought to the prison, their health condition deteriorated drastically. Along with these accused, TMC leader Sovan Chatterjee was also arrested. Chatterjee had been associated with BJP in the past.
