Congress Government’s gift to Muslims on the occasion of Eid

Though on the verge of extinction, the Congress still strives to appease the Muslims. Such a Congress, needs to be ousted by the Hindus and make Congress  a history.

Chandigarh : On the occasion of Eid, Punjab Congress Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has declared Malerkotla, a Muslim-dominated region of the State as an independent District. As a result, the total number of Districts in the State has now increased to 23.

  1. In the District Malerkotla, Muslim population is 69 percent, Hindu population is 20 percent and Sikhs are only 9 percent. According to the  2011 census, the population of Muslims in the new District was 80 percent, but now it has increased to 90 percent.
  2. A District status was a pre-poll promise made by Chief Minister Captain Singh, which he fulfilled on Eid. A provision of Rs 500 crore has been made for medical science college, women’s college, bus stand and an independent Police Station for women in the District.
