Army recruitment scam amounts to handing over the nation’s security in the hands of unscrupulous people. This is playing with the nation’s security, and such scamsters should be given capital punishment!
New Delhi – The CBI has registered a case against five Lieutenant Colonels, 12 other officials and 6 civilians for their alleged involvement in a recruitment scam in the Army. The CBI conducted raids at Delhi’s Army Base Hospital and also 30 locations across 13 cities in connection with the case. An Army official has reported that Lt. Col. Bhagwan, one among the accused was the mastermind of this scam.
Pune City Police yesterday arrested another Major rank officer of the Indian Army from Delhi, in an ongoing investigation case related to the Army recruitment exam paper leak. He was produced before Pune court today and has been sent to police custody till 15th March

Some candidates had been declared provisionally unfit at the Base Hospital in New Delhi. Brigadier (Vigilance) V.K.Purohit had made a complaint that a few Army officials currently in service were involved in taking bribes from those candidates in order to have a second medical examination and ensure their selection. The CBI had initiated this inquiry on the basis of this complaint.
