No permissions for any additional rail or bus

Dehradun (Uttarkhand) – The State Cabinet of Uttarkhand Government has issued permission to hold Kumbha Mela at Haridwar from 1st April to 30th April 2021. The Government has taken this decision keeping in view of the coronavirus pandemic.

The present capacity to accommodate the visitors in hotels, Ashram, Akharas, etc. in this region is for 5,50,000 devotees. The Government has also built temporary dormitories for night halt which can house 18,000 devotees. The Government has clarified that earlier to and during the scheduled Kumbha Mela permission or additional facility for train or bus will not be granted.
