
Haridwar – Kumbh Mela is to take place from March to April 2021. On the backdrop of corona pandemic all precautionary protocols are to be followed in the gathering. The devotees will have to take holy bath in river Ganga by observing social distance. 3 large covid centres will be set up here. For the first time natural ghats will be used along with the common ghats. There will be deep water barricades for safety on these temporary plastic ghats. Each barricading will be within four meters distance. It will have 4 feet water for safety baths. First Shahi snan will take place on Mahashivaratri, 11th March 2021 while the last one will be on Chaitra Pournima, 27th April.
