Budget session in January 2021
There is no history of any parliament session passing off peacefully. What is the use of such sessions on which public money is spent in crores, and public representatives come to create chaos and rampage ?

New Delhi – The Central Government has decided not to have the winter session of Parliament this year due to the coronavirus outbreak. Opposition parties had demanded a session. The Opposition has been trying to have a session in the backdrop of the ongoing farmers’ agitation on the Delhi borders, but the Government has decided on not having the session.

- Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi in his reply to Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury’s letter said that after a discussion with leaders of all parties, the consensus was not to have the session because of the corona pandemic. The Budget session will be convened in January 2021.
