More than 15 lakh lamps were lit

Varanasi (UP) – Devdivali was celebrated on the evening of 30th November at Rajghat in Varanasi in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After Prime Minister Modi lit the lamps, more than 15 lakh lamps were lit on 84 ghats here. A cultural program and a ‘laser show’ were organised at this time. Along with Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present on the occasion.

Earlier, the Prime Minister visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and performed worship. He also inspected the work of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor here. In the afternoon, Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated the 73 km 6-lane National Highway from Varanasi to Prayagraj.
