
Mathura (UP) – Supreme Court lawyer Mahek Maheshwari filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court with respect to Shrikrushna Janma-bhoomi’s 13.37 acre land. The petition demands that the place where the Idgah masjid was constructed should be handed over to Hindus so that a huge temple can be constructed there.
The petition further sought the permission to worship in the masjid till Janmashtami or for a few days in a week.
Earlier, 6 people including Supreme Court lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain, Ranjana Agnihotri had filed a petition in the Mathura District Court on behalf of Shri Krishna Virajman. Three organisations have filed a petition to be parties to it.
