
New Delhi – Tahawwur Hussain Rana, an accused of Jihadi terror attack, on Mumbai in November 26, 2008 will soon be brought to India from the US. Indian investigators hope thathis interrogation may reveal Pakistan’s involvement in the terror attack. Officials of Pakistan’s intelligence agency Major Iqbal and Major Sameer Ali were involved in the attack. Names of Hafiz Saeed (Lashkar-e- Taibachief), Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Sajid Majeed, Ilyas Kashmiri and Abdul Rahman Hashim Saeed alias Major Abdul Rehman (Passa) have also come up for the attack.
Tahawwur Rana is accused by the National Investigation Agency of providing facilities to another accused in the attack, David Headley, for stay and travel in India. He is also involved in reconnaissance of important places. Rana has links with terror outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba and Harkat- ul-Jihadi-Islami.

After Tahawwur Rana is brought to India, he will be kept in the custody of the National Investigation Agency for questioning. The investigating agencies will try to find out what sort of places he collected information from. It will also be explored, which Pakistani official was he in direct contact with ? What were his plans in his conversations with Headley and other terrorists ?
