New Delhi – The fast spreading COVID-19 virus across the country has created fearful environment and a huge number people are falling prey to various mental illnesses. Considering the severity of this situation Central Government has launched a helpline for mental health rehabilitation. Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Thaawarchand Gehlot started the toll free ‘Kiran’ helpline. The helpline number is 1800-599-0019.

The helpline aims to function as first point of service as a response to questions related to health and to counsel them. The helpline would provide counselling support for ‘Screening’, first-aid and for keeping yourself positive by maintaining mental health.
