Ramjanmabhoomi pujan concluded among the recitation of Vedas at the auspicious hands of Narendra Modi

Ayodhya (U.P.)  – The Bhoomi pujan ceremony of Ram Temple has concluded in an bhav-enriched environment in Ayodhya , the dream city of crores of Hindus across the world. This is the fruit of a long struggle of 5 centuries by the Hindus. The  Bhoomi pujan has been conducted on 5th August at 12:44 p.m. at Abijit Lagnam muhurtam by the auspicious hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Among those present on the occasion were Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, President of ‘Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Teerth Trust’ Mahant Nritya Gopaldas Maharaj, Treasurer of the ‘Trust’ Param Pujya Govind Dev Giri, Sarsangchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh Mohan Bhagawat, Yoga Rishi Ramdev Baba, Acharya Dharmendra, Uma Bharati, Sadhvi Ritambhara, Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel and other honourable persons.

Visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Hanuman Garhi !

After entering Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Hanuman Garhi temple, offered Arti at the temple. Yogi Adityanath also accompanied Modi. Before this, no Indian Prime Minister visited Hanuman Garhi in Ayodhya. Narendra Modi received the honour of becoming the first Prime Minister of visiting Hanuman Garhi.

After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Ramjanmabhoomi. He visited Ram Lalla seated in a tent. He prostrated before Ram Lalla, offered Arti and paid obeisance. After this, he planted ‘Parijata’ sapling on the premises. This was followed by Prime Minister Modi visiting the Bhoomipujan site.

While performing Bhoomi pujan, Prime Minister offered prayers to 9 stones. At that time, the ‘kurma shila’ was kept at the centre. This is the stone where Ram Lalla is to be consecrated. While the Bhoomi pujan was in progress, the priests explained the significance of these stones. “In the year 1979, devotees across the world had sent bricks for Ram temple. There are 2,75,000 such bricks in Ayodhya. Among these bricks, the words ‘Jai Shri Ram’ were written on 100 bricks. Among these 100 bricks, 9 bricks have been selected”.

Prime Minister Modi visited Ayodhya after 28 years

Prime Minister Modi had come to Ayodhya after 28 years. Before this, he visited Ayodhya during Ramjanmabhoomi agitation. Prime Minister Modi became the first Prime Minister to visit Ramjanmabhoomi.
