‘If the vehicles transporting goats are stopped we will start an agitation !’ – Islamic organisations warn the Government !

In the present day, the definition of Democracy has become like this – ‘If there is interference in Hindu religion, it is secularism, but interference in Islam, it is suppressing the minorities.’ Why are the progressives who would be always ready to comment on Hindu festivals silent on the threats issued by the Muslim Organisations? Would they dare to speak against such threats  ?

Mumbai – In view of the restrictions in transportation, the Maharashtra Government is obstructing the sacrifice which is given on Bakri-Eid. The vehicles transporting the goats are being stopped, which is causing hindrance in celebration of the festival. If such hindrances are not stopped, then some muslim clerics and organisations have warned the administration in Mumbai of serious repercussions. In an online meeting held in Mumbai (the background for Bakri- Eid), the clerics expressed deep dissatisfaction at the functioning of the Government.

At that point of time, “All India Ullema Council” representative Maulana Masood Daryabadi said, “We had belief that the Muslim legislators and Ministers would put pressure on the Government and aid in the relaxation of rules for Bakri-Eid”. They have put all the efforts in this regard. (Now the question arises that how many Hindu people’s representatives will stand up united to defend Hindu Dharma? – Editor). A person none other than Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar has mediated on this issue. Inspite of this, the Muslim society was not satisfied. (Now the Hindus should recognise the dual unethical role, wherein, on one hand, opposing the Bhoomi Pujan of Ram temple in Ayodhya, and on the other hand, mediating on the issue of sacrifice during Bakri-Eid! – Editor). 

Peace Committee’s chief Farid Sheikh has commented that, “It is a very common practice of the butcher in Devnar to slaughter buffaloes in house; whereas when the question of sacrifice comes, the slaughtering of buffaloes will not be permitted ! Why is this discrimination ?” Congress leader Naseem Khan has said that, “In the background of Corona, some people have suggested to give symbolic sacrifice. But symbolic sacrifice is not permissible in Islam”.
