Bijnor (U.P.) – A senior advocate Jawed Siddiqui was arrested in Aligarh by the Police for hatching a conspiracy to incite violence on Eid. A gun,162 bullets and some objectionable literature were recovered from him. He distributed provocative handbills through Popular Front of India and other jihadi organisations to incite violence on Eid. Siddiqui also confessed his participation in the violence that took place while agitating against the CAA.
