Rajasthan Congress leader Sachin Pilot sacked as Deputy Chief Minister as well as State Party President

His 2 supporter Ministers also removed from the Cabinet

Jaipur (Rajasthan) – Congress leader Sachin Pilot, who revolted against the Government, by complaining of not getting the requisite importance in the Rajasthan’s Congress Government, was eventually removed from the post of Deputy Chief Minister as well as the State Party Chief. Two of his supporter Ministers have also been sacked from the Cabinet, announced Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala.

The second meeting of the Congress Legislative Party was held at the ‘Fairmont’ hotel in Jaipur on 14th July. Sachin Pilot skipped this meeting. He was repeatedly called upon by the Congress High Command to attend the meeting; but still he failed to attend the meeting. Eventually, 102 MLA’s present in this meeting demanded the removal of Sachin Pilot from Congress. Accordingly, after the meeting, Randeep Surjewala announced the decision of removal of Pilot from the post of Deputy Chief Minister as well as State Chief.

Sachin Pilot claims support of 25 MLAs

Sachin Pilot claims that he has the support of 25 MLAs. The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly has 107 Congress and 72 BJP MLAs.
