Mewat (Haryana) : Protest against atrocities on Hindus through Twitter

‘#Save_Mewat_Hindus’ hashtag reached the third position

  Mumbai – A report published by the Vishva Hindu Parishad revealed the pathetic state of Hindus in the Muslim-majority Mewat District in Haryana. This District is claimed to have turned into ‘Mini-Pakistan’. Attacks on Hindus, encroachment on their lands, abduction of Hindu women, rapes, and conversion, are common here. ‘#Save_Mewat_Hindus’ hashtag was created on Twitter on 9th June to revolt against these atrocities. Very soon, this hashtag rose to the third position at the national level. More than 65,000 Hindus tweeted to register anger and protest. Religious Hindus demanded Haryana and the Central Government to take notice and protect Hindus.

• Kashmir pattern of displacing Hindus is being repeated in Mewat today. We must prevent Mewat from becoming the ‘Second Kashmir.’
• Hindus not allowed celebrating Dussera, Diwali and other festivals. This is horrific.
• Nobody is afraid of the Police in Mewat. The religious fanatics beat Hindus openly. If the Police apprehend and try to arrest the culprits, Muslim mob attacks them. Does Law and Order exist in Mewat ?
• A video from Zee News went viral. In this, a Hindu boy in school coerced to follow Islam rituals. This is a conspiracy to convert Hindus.
