Guwahati (Assam) – Due to heavy rainfall in the State for the last few days, seven people died in landslides in Cachar District, seven in Hailakandi District, and six in Karimganj District. Along with this, many people have been injured in it. In Cachar District, a family including three young children died as their entire house collapsed in the ground. Rescue operations are underway here these days. Assam Chief Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal has directed for financial assistance to the kin of the deceased.
