Case of religious fanatics threatening Muslim women for buying goods from Hindu shopkeepers in Davanagere
Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Twitter trend ‘Arrest Shobha’ was carried out against BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje, who had alleged that the coronavirus had spread in Shivamogga due to Tablighi community. Replying to this, Shobha Karandlaje, in her tweet has asked ‘Is Karnataka becoming an Islamic country ?’ Karandalaje has also posted a video where religious fanatics are stopping and threatening Muslim women for buying things from the Hindu shopkeepers in Davanagere. Apart from this, ‘the Sharia law which is being imposed by religious fundamentalists should be shown of its right place by the law of the Republic of India’, wrote Karandalaje. She also wrote to the Chief Minister Yeddyurappa and the State’s Director General of Police demanding immediate arrest of religious fanatics in the Davanagere case
