Ramayan serial creates world-record !

7.7 crore viewers watched the episode on a single day !

New Delhi – Popular tele-serials Ramayan and Mahabharat are being telecast again amidst the lockdown imposed in the country due to the coronavirus. The popular TV serial ‘Ramayan’ which is re-airing on Doordarshan became the world’s most-watched show on 16^th April with 7.7 crore viewers watching the serial on a single day. Doordarshan tweeted this information on its official Twitter handle and said that this is a world-record.
