Raids conducted at 16 locations linked to Deputy Superintendent of Police

Hyderabad (Telangana) – The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted raids at 16 locations, including the residence of Sankireddy Bhim Reddy, Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Computer Services Wing of the city police, as well as properties linked to his relatives, friends, and associates. According to the ACB, Reddy possesses assets worth more than ₹200 crore, far exceeding his known sources of income. It alleged that he amassed enormous wealth through corruption and other illegal means during his service. Simultaneous searches were carried out at all 16 locations on 2nd July.
1. During the raids, ACB officials recovered several important documents relating to Reddy’s extensive properties in Telangana and Karnataka.
2. The investigation revealed that Reddy owns two luxury bungalows, four flats in Gachibowli and Tellapur, three plots in Nagole and Patancheru, and a partnership stake in a commercial complex in Manikonda.
3. He also owns more than 50 acres of agricultural land in Karnataka and in Sangareddy, Vikarabad, and Muchintal in Telangana.
4. During the searches, officials seized ₹3.06 lakh in cash from Reddy’s residence and ₹40 lakh from the house of one of his relatives. They also confiscated 2 kg of gold jewellery and 20 kg of silver articles.
5. According to the Anti-Corruption Bureau, the market value of the immovable properties seized exceeds ₹200 crore.
