Shriram Temple donation theft case

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) – “Whatever has happened in connection with the Shriram Temple has caused great anguish. Those responsible should be sent to prison at the earliest. Only then will the Hindu community feel satisfied. Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shriram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust, is responsible due to his negligence in the Shriram Temple donation theft case. His turning a blind eye to corrupt practices may itself constitute an offence,” said Vishwa Hindu Parishad President Alok Kumar. He further said, “Whatever has happened is unfortunate. There is no question of defending anyone in this matter.”
VHP is not responsible for the donation theft case ! – Alok Kumar
“The Vishwa Hindu Parishad is not responsible for the Shriram Temple donation theft case. On the day the Supreme Court delivered its verdict in the Shriram Janmabhoomi case in 2019, we made it clear that the work of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad had ended. It is not the VHP’s responsibility to construct the temple or to assume responsibility thereafter. Therefore, we are not responsible for the theft of donations,” Kumar said.
