British Prime Minister Keir Starmer Resigns

Seventh Prime Minister in 10 years

London (UK) – British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has resigned from his post. Dissatisfaction with his leadership had been expressed within the Labour Party over the past several months. Owing to his steadily declining popularity and growing opposition from within the party, he ultimately decided to step down. He will remain as interim Prime Minister until a new Prime Minister is chosen. With Starmer’s resignation, Britain is set to have its seventh Prime Minister in just 10 years.
