Donald Trump issues a direct threat to Iran

Washington DC (USA) – US President Donald Trump openly warned that if Iran closes the Strait of Hormuz, it will cease to exist as a country. He also said that Iran should instruct the terrorist organisation Hezbollah to stop its attacks from Lebanon. During the ongoing talks between the United States and Iran in Switzerland, Iranian representatives reportedly walked out of the meeting after witnessing the aggressive stance adopted by the United States.
If the Strait of Hormuz is closed, the whole of Iran will be destroyed.

Trump uses expletives
Responding directly to Iran’s warning that it could close the Strait of Hormuz in protest against Israeli attacks on Lebanon, Trump said that any blockade of this crucial maritime route would be met with overwhelming force. It is being reported that while participating in the meeting over the telephone, Trump used abusive language and told Iranian representatives, “You may not even be able to return to your own country.”
If Iran does not agree to a deal, we will collect tolls from Hormuz
Later, Trump claimed that if the negotiations failed, Washington DC could take direct control of the strait. “If Iran does not agree to a deal, we will collect tolls there,” he said. Under such a system, vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz could be charged a toll amounting to 20% of the value of their total oil cargo.
