Kolkata (Bengal) – Fifty-nine MLAs and 20 MPs of the Trinamool Congress have split from the party. Many leaders have resigned from it. Meanwhile, three bank accounts of the party have now been frozen. These accounts contained ₹440 crore. Rebel MLAs of the Trinamool Congress had demanded an inquiry into the source of the money in these bank accounts. This action was taken following that demand.
