Pune – A shocking incident has come to light at Vibgyor School in the Fursungi area here, where a Christian staff member allegedly tried to exert religious influence on a Hindu girl student studying in Class X and convert her. As usual, the school administration made desperate attempts to suppress the sensitive matter; however, the plans of Christian missionaries were foiled after the victim’s parents raised their voice in a parents’ group. ‘DCN News’ has reported this incident.

Using illness as an opportunity teach the Bible !

According to the complainant parents, their daughter suddenly felt unwell while she was in class and went to the school’s sick bay (medical room) for treatment. Instead of providing first aid or medical assistance, the Christian staff member present there directly began speaking to her about Christianity, faith in Jesus and religious conversion.

The employee explained how he had himself abandoned Hinduism and embraced Christianity, and how attending church had transformed his life. Telling her, “Praying to Jesus will solve all your problems”, he deliberately attempted to influence the mind of the young Hindu girl.

He strictly instructed the Hindu girl not to tell her mother anything about the conversation. He also advised her to watch videos of a Christian YouTube influencer and handed her a slip containing the name of that channel.

Hypocrisy of the school administration !

The Vibgyor School administration confirmed receiving the complaint and gave a vague response that “an internal inquiry against the concerned employee is underway”. However, the parents have now lodged an official complaint with the school administration and demanded strict legal action against those responsible.
