Severed cow’s head found on the donation box at a temple in Sribhumi (Assam)!

Sribhumi – Tension gripped the area after a severed cow’s head was found on the donation box of a temple in Madanpur village of Sribhumi district. Police arrived at the scene immediately after receiving information about the incident. They removed the cow’s head as well as other debris scattered around the donation box. Some individuals attempted to dismiss the matter by suggesting that that a wild animal might have brought the head to the location. However, local residents rejected this possibility. At present, the situation in Madanpur village remains tense but under control. A substantial police force has been deployed in the area.

“Such an incident will not be tolerated!” – Hindu Organisations

When these organisations say that ‘such incidents will not be tolerated’, what exactly are they going to do? Atrocities against Hindus continue in India because Hindu organisations are not exerting the pressure expected of them and governments do not take them seriously.

Following the incident, local Hindu organisations and leaders expressed strong anger. They stated that the slaughter of a cow and placing its severed head at a temple in a Hindu-majority area would not be tolerated. They said that the act was a direct challenge thrown at the majority community. They demanded that the culprits be identified immediately and subjected to such punishment that it would serve as an example to others.

Editorial Perspective

Hindus feel that such incidents should not occur when BJP is in power in Assam.
