Terrorist attack plot in Mumbai in retaliation for anti-encroachment action in Bandra

Information revealed during Delhi Police investigation

Mumbai – A few days ago, more than 400 encroachments in Garib Nagar near the railway station in Bandra (East) were demolished. According to information that emerged during an investigation by the Delhi Police, a plot was hatched to carry out a terrorist attack in Mumbai in retaliation for this action. In connection with the case, a high alert has been issued in Mumbai, and stringent security arrangements have been deployed.

1. According to the investigation, the arrested terrorists had Mumbai Police personnel, security agencies, and several highly important and crowded locations in the city on their target list. Their objective was to spread panic by attacking Police personnel and carrying out explosions at important locations. 2. The Police have seized mobile phones and various electronic devices from the accused, along with videos and photographs recorded by them. It is also understood that they had conducted reconnaissance of the city. Investigating agencies reportedly found communications between the accused and their overseas handlers (individuals directing and controlling terrorist activities in India).

3. There is suspicion that Pakistan-based intelligence agency ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence), along with notorious gangster Munna Zhingada and certain other foreign masterminds, may have been involved in the conspiracy.
