Matter related to mimicking Chamundi Devi while talking about film ‘Kantara’

Mysuru (Karnataka) – In connection with the case of insulting Goddess Chamundi by mimicking her while speaking about the film ‘Kantara’, actor Ranveer Singh visited the temple atop Chamundi Hill in Mysuru and sought forgiveness in accordance with the court’s directions. He reportedly sat on the ground before the Goddess and bowed his head for some time while seeking pardon. Thereafter, he performed a special Puja of the Goddess. Ranveer Singh had allegedly referred to the Goddess as a “ghost”. After the matter reached the court, the court directed Singh to visit the Goddess’s temple and offer prayers.
