Advise people to celebrate Bakri Eid by offering a virtual sacrifice of a goat

  • Open challenge by Minister Nitesh Rane to so-called environmentalists

  • He recalled the thoughts of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar: ‘Hindus are not in danger from Muslims, but from their own people’

Minister Nitesh Rane

Neral (Raigad, Maharashtra) – During Hindu festivals such as Holi, so-called environmentalists advise people to celebrate in an eco-friendly way, to play a dry Holi and not to burst firecrackers during Diwali. Those who preach to Hindus should now advise Muslims to celebrate Bakri Eid by keeping a picture of a goat on a computer and sacrificing it “virtually,” said BJP leader and minister Nitesh Rane in an open challenge. He was speaking at a program organised in Neral. At the event, he called out double standards in criticism of Hindu festivals.

He also recalled a statement by Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and pointed to internal betrayal among Hindus. He said, “Savarkar had said that Hindus are not in danger from Muslims, but from Hindus themselves. Some of our own people are useless.”

Do these so-called environmentalists have the courage?: Nitesh Rane

Minister Rane further said, “Do these environmentalists have the courage to advise Muslims to perform a ‘virtual’ sacrifice? Let them give such advice once and then the whole country will see whether they can move around freely afterward.”

Hindu unity is the need of the hour

In another post, Minister Nitesh Rane wrote that in places like Neral, it is extremely important for Hindus to come together to strengthen Hindu unity. He expressed confidence that, “As Hindus, we must all show unity. As a government, we are committed to ensuring social security and justice.” He further appealed to the people present there that in today’s times, it is necessary for Hindu community to remain aware, united, and vigilant. He also urged that if injustice or atrocities are committed against Hindus, the entire community should stand together firmly in solidarity.
