30 killed, 82 injured in suicide attack in Balochistan

Quetta (Balochistan) – A suicide attack took place near railway tracks in Quetta on 24 May. The ‘Jafar Express’, which was passing through the area at the time, was caught in the attack. Information has emerged that 30 people were killed and 82 others injured so far in the attack. The explosion occurred near Chaman railway crossing.

The blast was so powerful that several coaches of the train derailed. Police said that the impact of the explosion also shattered the windowpanes of nearby buildings. Security agencies have cordoned off the entire area. Further investigation is underway.
