Pune – Following a court order, a Hindu family had arrived to take possession of a plot of land in the Dhanori area that had been under dispute for more than a decade. At that time, Ilahi Sheikh and burqa-clad women from the opposing side launched a sudden attack on them.

During this brutal attack, the accused threw chilli powder into the eyes of the victim family. They were also subjected to inhuman assault. Muslims also desecrated the Hanuman idol. Helpless before the violent mob, the victim family reportedly had to flee from their own land to save their lives. A video of this incident was broadcast by the ‘Sudarshan Marathi’ channel. Thereafter, Pune Police immediately took action and registered cases against Ilahi Sheikh and the other accused under serious charges including rioting, hurting religious sentiments, and assault, and an investigation has been initiated.

• Looking at the history of the past one thousand years, Muslims have seized one-third of Hindu land and created Pakistan and Bangladesh. Even today, by taking control of Hindu-owned lands, are they preparing for another future partition? Such seemingly small incidents provoke such thoughts.
