State Bank of India to remain closed for 6 days from 23rd May

New Delhi – State Bank of India, the country’s largest public sector bank, will remain closed for 6 days from May 23rd, 2026. However, online services will continue to function during this period. Customers will still be able to use facilities such as internet banking, ATMs, mobile banking, and other digital services.

The closure is due to a combination of the proposed bank strike, the holiday for Eid-ul-Adha (Bakri Eid) announced by the Reserve Bank of India, and regular weekly holidays.
