America seizes Iranian oil tanker carrying 10 lakh barrels in the Indian Ocean

Teheran (Iran) – According to official information provided by American authorities, the United States has seized a large oil tanker linked to Iran in the Indian Ocean. The name of this massive vessel is ‘Skywave’. The United States has alleged that the tanker was being used for the illegal transportation of oil in violation of international sanctions imposed on Iran. It is estimated that the tanker may be carrying more than 10 lakh barrels of crude oil.

This is not the first time that the United States has taken action against Iranian oil tankers. Earlier in April as well, the United States had seized two large Iranian oil tankers named ‘Majestic X’ and ‘Tiffany’ in the Indian Ocean.
