Attempt to give communal angle to children’s fight

Miscreants pelt stones at Police Station

Pune (Maharashtra) – A minor dispute arose between two children in Kondhwa, Pune, over a toy. Certain elements attempting to spread unrest tried to give a communal angle to this trivial incident and create tension between two communities. In an attempt to worsen the situation, some miscreants allegedly pelted stones at the Kondhwa Police Station. The Police acted promptly and brought the situation under control. Three separate cases have been registered in connection with the incident. The Police have appealed for peace and warned of strict action against those spreading rumours.

There is no need to separately mention who could go to the extent of pelting stones at a Police Station after attempting to give a communal colour to the incident! Will the Police now take immediate and strict action against such elements?
