In Kolkata, Muslims Avoided Offering Namaz on the streets Due to the Strict Stand Taken by the Police!

Earlier, they had opposed the police

Kolkata (Bengal) – The effects of the BJP government coming to power in Bengal have started becoming visible immediately. Muslims had, as usual, blocked the road in the Raja Bazar area on Friday, 15 May afternoon for offering namaz. At the same time, the police objected to them offering namaz on the road. Muslims also raised slogans against this opposition. When the police warned that the protest would be suppressed, the Muslims backed down and stated that they would not offer namaz on the road.

Action will be taken against those who oppose it!

Seeing the situation was becoming tense due to the opposition from Muslims, the administration had deployed a large number of paramilitary personnel in the area. The police stated that those involved in creating disturbances would be identified and action would be taken against them according to law. The police also clarified that no one would be allowed to take the law into their own hands.

BJP MLA had already hinted at this earlier!

After the BJP’s victory in Bengal, BJP MLA Arjun Singh, while speaking to the news channel Aaj Tak, had stated that permission to offer namaz on roads should no longer be granted in the state. He said that mosques have been built for offering namaz and people should go there to pray.

Editorial Perspective

  • Hindus wish that the Shubhendu Adhikari government in Bengal will function with a stand tougher than the governments of Yogi Adityanath and Himanta Biswa Sarma!
  • O Hindus, if such changes are beginning to take place in Bengal, a state that was slipping away from India, after the Pro-Hindu BJP coming to power, then imagine what can happen in India once a Hindu Rashtra is established. This is why Hindus should come forward to establish a Hindu Rashtra!
