If Pakistan does not stop sheltering terrorists, it must decide whether it wants to remain part of geography or become part of history: General Upendra Dwivedi

New Delhi – India’s Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi warned Pakistan that if it does not stop providing shelter to terrorists, it will have to decide whether it wants to remain part of geography or become part of history. He issued this warning while addressing a military programme at the Manekshaw Centre on the occasion of one year of Operation Sindoor.

General Dwivedi further said,

1. If Pakistan does not change its strategy, then in the future the Indian Army will respond far more harshly and swiftly than it did during Operation Sindoor.

2. Pakistan must decide whether it wishes to choose the path of peace and development or continue supporting terrorism. India has always desired peace; however, if Pakistan continues spreading terrorism, India will not hesitate to take strict action against it.

3. If such a situation arises again, the Armed Forces will respond with even greater speed and intensity. Operation Sindoor demonstrated excellent coordination among the Army, Air Force and Navy. The country has adopted a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism. The Armed Forces are fully prepared to face any challenge.
