Nashik, Maharashtra – Police investigating the TCS case in Nashik have found that accused Nida Khan had sent 171 links related to Islam to the victim Hindu girl in an alleged attempt to convert her. During Police custody, the investigation team also took Nida Khan to her residence and workplace, where a panchnama was conducted to collect evidence.

1.   Nida allegedly made deliberate efforts to attract the victim towards Islam. She reportedly visited the victim’s house and performed religious rituals and practices there. It has also been alleged that Nida forced the victim to wear a burqa.

2.   Through continuous religious preaching and videos, attempts were allegedly made to influence and change the victim’s mindset. Nida Khan’s mobile phone has been sent to a forensic laboratory. Investigators believe that further details may emerge once deleted messages, videos and contact numbers are recovered.

3.   Nida’s bank passbook has also been seized as part of the investigation into her financial transactions. Investigating officers had earlier expressed suspicion before the court that she may have been receiving funds from a specific group.
