Any action against Pakistan would face painful consequences : Pak army chief threatens India

Islamabad (Pakistan) – Our enemies should remember that if any misadventure is attempted against Pakistan in the future, the resulting impact won’t be limited, it would be widespread, dangerous, far-reaching and painful, warned Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir. He was speaking as the chief guest at a programme organized at the army headquarters in Rawalpindi. Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu and Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf were also present on the occasion.

India was defeated in ‘Operation Sindoor’

General Munir claimed that on the midnight of May 6, 7 and 10 last year, the enemy had unsuccessfully attempted to test our resolve by violating Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, which was retaliated with full national unity and military might. The conflict between the two sides was not just a conventional war between two countries or armies, but it was a decisive war between two ideologies, in which, by the grace of Allah, truth triumphed and falsehood was defeated.

The ‘false flag operations’ of 2001, 2008, 2016 and 2019 are proof that in the past too, India has unsuccessfully attempted to impose an illegal war on Pakistan and achieve narrow, long-term political and military objectives through allegations, exaggerations, warmongering and the misleading idea of limited aggression. If Pakistan’s enemies take any such action in the future, the consequences of the war will not be limit.

Editorial Perspective

Looking at the situation of Pakistan after India’s 'Operation Sindoor', it seems that Munir is making such statements only to mislead Pakistani citizens and keep them in the dark.
